To my previous paster Fr. Brad Helman who “gifted” us with the privilege of serving him during his illness. Fr. Brad’s favorite psalm, “I will sing of your salvation,” is present on this CD as a tribute to his love for music.

“The Gift” project began in my basement in 2000 with inspiration from the Holy Spirit to set music based on the theme from John about the woman caught in adultery. Composing music based on the responsorial psalms continues to be a source of motivation.

Special thanks to all the musicians, vocalists, advisory team, photographer, artistic design, mastering, editors, and financial supporters that helped make “The Gift” possible.

Welcome to the table, this Eucharistic feast.
We are here to worship, lifting prayerful hearts in song.
Ev’ryone is welcome, we glorify the Lord.
With on voice sing praise to God; Holy is his name.
We’re united at God’s banquet: heave here on earth.
Glory to the Father! Praises to the Son!
We are welcome at the table, community as one.
Holy Spirit flowing, this gift of bread and wine.
We are here to worship. We are here to pray.
Saints and angels singing: Glory to our God!
Family of believers, give thanks to God above.
Gathered on this journey, seeking mystery Divine.

we give you thanks for your great flory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father.

The Gift

In the midst of Christmas
lies the Christ-Child born this day.
Shepherds in awe while baby sleeps;
our wondrous, loving mystery.
The Gift of Life for all.
She hold him up our Christmas gift;
Glory to God creation sings!
No shimmering tinsel or deftly tied bow;
only a home spun tag, Signed, “All my Love.”
Merry Christmas, from your Father above.

In The Sight Of The Angels

In the sight of the angels I will sing your praises, Lord.
I will give thanks to you Lord, with all my heart.
For you have heard the words,
you have heard the word of my mouth.
In the presence of the angels I will sing your praise Lord.
Worship at your temple and give thanks to your name.
Because your kindness and truth, I will sing praises Lord.

Our Help Is From The Lord
